Janice's Causes
Through her actions and kindness, Janice shaped a vision for her legacy that continues to guide our family. She expressed love through volunteerism, food, care for the earth, and support for those most in need.

Faith
Janice’s character was deeply shaped by her faith. From her time as a child in youth group to her prayer group in the remaining years of her life, the church always gave her peace and purpose.
Support the faith of others through the Joy Foundation stands as one of the most meaningful
expressions of her legacy.

Pediatric Cancer
Janice faced her battle with cancer with strength and grace. Even in the midst of her challenges, her thoughts often turned to the children facing the same fight.
Through the Joy Foundation, her compassion lives on by bringing comfort, support, and moments of joy to children and families navigating pediatric cancer.

Hunger Relief
Sharing food was one of the ways Janice showed love and care for others, and it remains one of the traditions through which our family keeps her closest to our hearts.
The Joy Foundation honors that tradition by supporting organizations that provide food and nourishment to families experiencing hunger.
Nature
Whether through bike rides, walks in the woods, gardening, or family vacations outdoors, Janice’s appreciation for nature and all of God’s creatures ran deep. She often saw yellow finches as quiet messengers from Heaven, and butterflies have since come to symbolize her gentle presence.
The Joy Foundation supports causes that reflect her spirit of care, stewardship, and reverence for the natural world.
